Nate's Football Leagues offer a lot of fun and functionality with no programming knowledge or confusing manuals needed.
The following is a list of what you get with your group fees:
Personalized Home Page:
You can post your own welcome message, news updates & even silly pictures to the home page. There is also a schedule of the upcoming games available for easy viewing, as well as a quick links section that lets you jump around the site.
Full Game Schedule & Game Picks
Each person has the ability to enter his or her picks for each game, at any time from when the schedule has been entered until the minute the game starts. There is a helpful email reminder tool for those group owners that are kind and want to remind the other members to get their picks in on time, but there is nothing in the rules saying you HAVE to send out the reminder. It all depends on your style of competition! The season schedule is put in automatically, so there is no need to worry about having to update that yourself. In just the same way, the member's picks are scored automatically as well, so there is nothing to worry about there either. This allows you to concentrate on making your picks and keeping up to date on the Smack Board (see below).
Member Picks Results
Every pick made by your group members is available to view and compare. Once the games have been completed and scored, the correct picks for each member are highlighted and put in order of best to worst score for the week, so you can quickly see who did well for the week as well as who bombed for the week.
Season Standings
Overall totals for the season can be easily viewed on this page. By default, the results up to the current week are displayed, but by clicking on a link you can easily track the progress of each person in your group throughout the course of the season.
The Smack Board
This could be the best part about the entire game. The Smack Board is a web board or forum available for posting your thoughts & feelings about how much you enjoy the companionship of your friends, as well as how highly you think of their ability for picking the winners of the games...No, not really. The Smack Board is all about running your mouth. This is the place to voice frustrations on your favorite teams inability to win, on the pure luck of Minnesota even having a team this year, or even on the hygene of one of your other group members. Anything is up for grabs here; this is the place to speak your mind.
